Please email us at solutions@amerecover.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No, Amerecover is not a lender, debt consolidation company, debt collections settlement company, or bankruptcy protection law firm. You can think of us as a settlement negotiator and vehicle buyer bundled together. We're here to help if your vehicle has not been repossessed yet.
There isn't a whole lot that Amerecover can do to help in this case. We try to help borrowers avoid a repossession before it happens by paying off their servicer in exchange for the vehicle title. Once your vehicle is repossessed, there isn't a way for us to acquire the vehicle in exchange for settling your loan.
At this time, we can't assist with settling deficiency balances or debts that have been sold to a collections agency.
Unfortunately, saving your credit from the impact of a repossession comes at the price of forfeiting your vehicle. It's not ideal, but if the bank is going to repossess your vehicle anyway, you'll thank yourself when you go to get your next car (without that repo on your credit report).
We negotiate to reduce or eliminate any deficient balance owed.
Nothing! We never charge fees to the borrowers we work with.
We serve all states. Send us an email or submit an application and we'll review your unique situation.
